This position is responsible for a variety of credentialing processes related to healthcare professionals, including physicians and allied health practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all credentialing activities comply with legal, federal, and state regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports detailing credentialing activities, including accreditation and membership status.
  • Application Processing: Manage the processing of initial applications and reappointments, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all documentation.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the Echo database with precise information regarding education, training, experience, and licensure of providers.
  • Committee Preparation: Organize materials for Credentials Committee meetings, Medical Executive Committee (MEC) sessions, and Board of Trustees meetings.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold the confidentiality of provider information throughout all credentialing processes.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and, when necessary, attend site-based medical staff department meetings, taking minutes as required.
  • Dues Management: Process and collect dues for site-based medical staff.
  • Data Accuracy: Compile and maintain current and accurate data for all healthcare providers.
  • Expiration Tracking: Monitor and track license and certification expirations for all providers.
