Job Title: Director Project Portfolio Ops

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our project portfolio operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project priorities are aligned with business needs, resources are aligned with those priorities, and priorities are communicated throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight for the governance, process, and tools to make the best portfolio prioritization decisions given strategic priorities and resources across the global IM SC.
  • Drive portfolio business processes and support tools to keep pace with or anticipate business needs and increase both efficiency and effectiveness within the governance and senior leadership team portfolio prioritization through portfolio analytics; ensure global portfolio integration for cross-governance portfolios.
  • Provide recommendations to the IM SC Leadership Team to continually ensure that the portfolio is supporting the strategic intent and that investments and resources are deployed towards improving business outcomes.
  • Display excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work in a complex matrix.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, with experience leading large, complex, and interdependent initiatives in a matrix, global environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company and across our global supply chain.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing across franchises, business segments, and areas, with strong business knowledge and a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Skills proven in influencing across the matrix and negotiating in situations without positional authority, with experience working within different cultures and handling diverse and complex cultural and market-specific issues.
