Acute Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN Acute Care to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a Registered Nurse RN Acute Care, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse RN Acute Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a medical surgical environment. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of our patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible outcomes.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- A nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment.
