Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Professional to join our team. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing accurate and complete tax returns, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also have the opportunity to grow your career and develop your skills through our comprehensive training programs and mentorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns, including individual, trust, and partnership returns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate business growth by identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services to clients.
  • Mentor and support teammates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax, with a strong understanding of tax law and regulations.
  • Experience completing individual tax returns, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, including video, phone, and chat.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on education and continuous learning.
