Data Science Leader for Innovative Product Development

The successful candidate will have expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling, with a strong ability to apply these skills to deliver impactful, objective, and actionable data insights. They will also have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to drive informed and timely decision-making.

We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where you'll have the opportunity to think creatively and proactively identify new opportunities within Snap's long-term roadmap for data-scientific contributions. You'll work on machine learning or statistical analyses, build pragmatic, scalable, and statistically thorough solutions, and communicate best practices in quantitative analysis.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a BS/BA degree in a technical field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science or equivalent years of experience. 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis & data science or a related field is required, along with expertise using SQL or similar big data querying languages, programming language (e.g., Python or R), and applied statistical techniques (e.g., inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling techniques).

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary, ranging from $184,000-$276,000 annually in Zone A, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you'll receive equity in the form of RSUs and comprehensive benefits, including paid parental leave, medical coverage, and emotional and mental health support programs.
