Role Summary: The Catering Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and managing the daily operations of Food and Beverage services. This includes delegating responsibilities and ensuring high standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular attendance, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
  • Assess workload requirements to uphold high standards for catered events.
  • Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Engage with guests and clients to resolve inquiries and feedback effectively.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of menus, including food, service, and presentation.
  • Guide and manage hourly staff in service standards and expectations.
  • Train staff in the setup, preparation, and breakdown of event spaces to ensure excellence.
  • Oversee the delivery and supervision of food and supplies for scheduled functions.
  • Direct food and beverage service to guests, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations while maintaining high food quality standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment and service stations.
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to guarantee proper food preparation and service.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisory or venue leadership.
  • Promote a positive and respectful work environment.
