Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform and document vascular ultrasound procedures in our Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of Vascular Surgery and the Medical Director of the Vascular Surgery Vein Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-invasive peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures efficiently and accurately, following all documented protocols.
  • Assess patient medical history, explain procedures, and obtain informed consent.
  • Operate sonographic equipment, including Doppler ultrasound, to acquire diagnostic information.
  • Communicate diagnostic information to ordering physicians and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff to promote appropriate use of laboratory services.
Requirements:
  • RVT or RVT eligible certification.
  • BS in biological sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain prolonged arm positions and lift patients, move heavy equipment, and interact with patients of all kinds.
