KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct testing and/or repair of a range of both new and existing products, utilizing independent judgment to guarantee quality, appropriate components, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Assemble, repair, and/or evaluate various products using both standard and specialized tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to certify products meet customer specifications.
  • Interpret machine assembly specifications, including charts and blueprints.
  • Complete various forms and documentation as required.
  • Engage in precision sub-assembly, assembly, or rework of components, necessitating attention to detail and independent decision-making.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and protocols.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Follow and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and procedural instructions.
  • Operate a variety of manual machinery and hand tools.
  • Possess knowledge of basic rigging and operate equipment such as Forklifts, Cranes, and AWP, along with specialized hand and power tools.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, testing, and assembling mechanical systems for drilling control applications, both surface and subsea.
  • Support the configuration, preparation, maintenance, and utilization of test stations and equipment for factory and system acceptance testing, including hydrostatic pressure and flushing.
  • Set up, operate, test, repair, and/or modify a variety of mechanical systems and devices.
  • Apply foundational skills while developing specialized competencies in procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment relevant to mechanical specialization; engage in routine tasks under close supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Two or more years of experience in assembling and testing oilfield equipment is preferred.
  • 0-6 months of experience in a related field is preferred, with knowledge of oil and gas field components being advantageous.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Physical demands include the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Proper Personal Protective Equipment must be worn in designated areas at all times.
