About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT or Paramedic to join our team as a Worksite Health Technician in an occupational health clinic setting. As a Worksite Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with medical and operational leadership, and supporting the well-being of employees in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid care and treatment to employees following our step-by-step care protocols
  • Support employees with wellness, education, and teaching
  • Collaborate with medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure
  • Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor's clients and employees
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
  • Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Case Management
  • Medical charting
  • OSHA record-keeping
  • General administrative duties
Requirements
  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and other technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software
  • Ability to work independently and have good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant occupational health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
