Job Summary
This contract role is intended for a proficient individual with a background in welding, experience in body stamping, and a sharp eye for automotive quality. The position involves working the third shift over a specified period. The contractor will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing the quality of automotive products, particularly focusing on interior plastic components. In addition to technical expertise, the role necessitates strong communication skills and experience in problem-solving and project management.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Welding Expertise: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and spot welding, especially in automotive contexts.
- Body Stamping: Practical experience with automotive body stamping methods.
- Quality Control: Skilled in conducting thorough inspections and quality assessments to ensure high standards.
- Interior Plastic Assembly: Experience in assembling interior plastic components with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective Communication: Strong ability to engage with clients and team members proficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Quick to identify and address issues that may arise during projects.
- Project Coordination: Experience in managing tasks and overseeing smaller project elements.
- Certifications: AWS or other relevant welding certifications are advantageous.
- Advanced Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Industry Background: Previous experience in the automotive sector is highly desirable.
