We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our Accounting and Assurance (A&A) Department in Tucson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit work papers and documentation.
  • Perform analytical review procedures, including documentation of expectations, results, and conclusions.
  • Draft financial statements and notes for simple compilations or reviews.
  • Conduct assigned audit procedures for specific accounts and transactions.
  • Prepare complex tax accruals for financial statements.
  • Research and conclude on accounting issues.
  • Provide assistance to senior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
  • 150 credit hours with 30 upper division account credits preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Progressive plan toward passing the CPA exam required.

Working Conditions:

  • No physical exertion required.
  • Required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Usual office working conditions.
  • 25-75% travel for field work.
