- Maintain vigilance on the sales floor to foster a secure shopping atmosphere, ensuring clear access to emergency exits and promptly addressing any safety concerns.
- Show respect and courtesy to all Customers and Associates, maintaining a friendly and professional attitude at all times.
- Assist Customers with their needs, including being trained at the register, providing merchandise assistance, and answering inquiries knowledgeably and politely.
- Respond promptly to Customer Service calls and handle issues with professionalism, involving Store Leadership when necessary.
- Uphold and represent the Company brand consistently.
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas to maintain a clean environment for Customers and Team Members.
- Adhere to the Company's dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Execute daily tasks related to merchandise organization and recovery to ensure a well-maintained store.
- Efficiently process newly received merchandise to the sales floor, merchandising items according to established guidelines.
- Understand and implement Loss Prevention protocols and merchandise protection standards.
- Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions, safeguarding confidential information.
- Follow all cash handling procedures with accuracy and awareness.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency in completing tasks, maximizing productivity by adhering to Store best practices.
- Effective communication with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a respectful and pleasant manner.
- Basic mathematical skills relevant to retail operations.
- Ability to operate all Store equipment as needed.
- Capability to spend the majority of working hours standing and moving throughout the Store.
- Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop as part of job functions.
- Occasionally lift and move items exceeding 25 pounds.
