CUSTOMER CONNECTION
Builds enduring customer relationships by recognizing and anticipating their needs.
Engages with the broader community and serves as a brand representative for JOANN.
Encourages, mentors, and motivates the team to be exceptional brand ambassadors.
Stays informed about products and maintains curiosity about new merchandise and trends.
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Communicates new initiatives, leadership updates, and promotional activities.
Ensures flawless execution of operational policies and procedures.

Responsible for receiving and sorting freight according to company protocols.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand for the duration of a shift (excluding normal break time).
Continuously walk throughout all areas of the store during the shift.
Read written instructions, reports, and other information on paper and computer screens.
Communicate orally with customers and team members consistently throughout the shift.
Input data using a computer keyboard and handheld devices.
Utilize 2-way radios (hear incoming messages and provide verbal responses).
Push/pull merchandise using appropriate equipment (carts, bins, etc.) to and from the backroom and sales floor.
Lift, place, and organize items on shelves and racks.
Bend down and reach overhead.
Climb and descend ladders.
Individually lift up to 49 pounds, and group lift up to 97 pounds (under 2lb on a constant basis, 10lb on a frequent basis, 10lb-49lb on an occasional basis, and 50lb-97lb group lifts on an infrequent basis).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full oversight of a multi-unit store, including all personnel and responsibilities related to hiring and training.
EXPECTED AVAILABILITY
Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of retail leadership experience.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to oversee a store budget and labor levels.
