About the Role:

This PRN home health SLP position requires a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to cover the Durango and Pagosa area needs. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients in their homes, promoting optimal health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and diagnose patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice, and other related disorders, developing individualized treatment plans to address these issues.
  2. Implement evidence-based interventions and Rehab processes to promote optimal patient health and well-being.
  3. Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, family members, and caregivers.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
