Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Conceive, design, and prepare working drawings for new or modified structures.
  • Problem-Solving: Perform a variety of complicated problem-solving tasks.
  • Project Supervision: Responsible for daily supervision of design and technical development of projects.
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare a project budget scenario and track hours spent on project.
  • Staffing and Production: Prepare suggestions for staffing requirements and production to keep project performance on track.
  • Productivity and Profit Goals: Define, along with the project manager, the productivity and profit goals for each assigned project.
  • Client Relationships: Develop effective client relationships in bringing projects to fruition.
  • Design Support: Keep design support team productive and efficient. Responsible for check set review, code compliance and risk management review of assigned projects.
  • Project Management: Works with contractors to price, bid, and construct projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture from accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Consulting Experience: Previous consulting experience preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in REVIT.
  • Professional Development: Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
