About the Role

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Associate to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial functions for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Management: Maintain the general ledger, execute the monthly close process, and prepare financial reports.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor onboarding and documentation.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the budgeting process, analyze financial data, and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed process documentation across all related functions.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Work on various projects, including cross-departmental initiatives, and serve as the accounting representative.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with financial and accounting practices, and experience with QuickBooks or other general ledger software.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational skills, self-awareness, and ability to work collaboratively with others.
