Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Housekeeping Staff: Provide open communication, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Interview, Hire, and Train Staff: Recruit, interview, and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inspect and Maintain Cleanliness Standards: Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards.
  • Issue Assignments and Supplies: Issue assignments to staff and provide necessary supplies to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
  • Respond to Guest Requests: Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Implement Emergency Procedures: Develop and implement emergency training and procedures to ensure the protection of the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
  • Comply with Attendance Rules: Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Qualifications
  • Housekeeping Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and guests.
