Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide per diem coverage at multiple locations. This role involves providing occupational health services and education to clients based on their medical and psychosocial needs. The successful candidate will work in accordance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, as well as the client's Bill of Rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality occupational health care services to clients in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
  • Review medical histories and coordinate onsite medical care and interventions as needed.
  • Support the team, including Medical Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
  • Participate in performance improvement programs and contribute to the center's quality and appropriateness of patient care.
  • Stay knowledgeable about occupational health policies and regulations.
  • Complete accurate and timely submission of clinical and professional records in the EMR.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams and align with other healthcare initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program as a registered nurse with a Master's degree.
  • Established Collaborative Agreement.
  • Experience using EMR/EHR.
  • Licensed and registered as a Registered Nurse and Certified as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Education Department.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills with the ability to process automated health records accurately.
  • Must obtain a Medical Examiner Certification within 3 months of hire.
