Cardiac Surgery Nocturnist

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking an experienced Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our cardiology group, you will be responsible for managing critical care patients and working closely with our primary physicians to develop and implement effective care plans.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct rounds on patients and perform assessments to identify areas for improvement
* Coordinate and evaluate the plan of care, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care
* Implement discharge plans and provide education to patients and their families
* Administer medications and treatments as directed by the primary physician
* Obtain arterial and central venous access, intubation, and manage patients post VAD/Temp VAD/ECMO
Requirements:
* Board certified acute care nurse practitioner
* Licensed in the state of Texas
* Hospital-based position with no on-call requirements
