We are seeking a compassionate, reliable driver to join our team and support the critical care we provide to our community. As a medical driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our members receive the healthcare they need, transporting them safely and with kindness.

Responsibilities:
  • Drives a transit bus or van over assigned routes within an established time schedule.
  • Loads and unloads passengers safely at designated stops; ensures passenger safety in crossing the street.
  • Maintains control of passengers on vehicle; responds to parents and other citizens concerning transportation schedules and problems.
  • Inspects vehicle prior to trips to ensure safe operation; reports any mechanical defects or malfunctions; refuels vehicles, checks and maintains fluid levels.
  • Sweeps and maintains vehicles in clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes transportation records such as number of passengers transported, mileage, special runs, route directions, etc.
  • Ensures record keeping and adheres to the oral and written transportation policy and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a High School diploma and be over the age of 18.
  • Driver's license with specific endorsements/restrictions is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, a drug screen and meet all health and immunization requirements required by federal, state or Tribal laws and regulations.
  • At least 1 year driving experience.
