Shift: Day - 3x12 - 7am - 7pm, 36 Hours per Week

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours

Requirements:

  • Preferred: One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional
  • Credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty as required by the hiring department
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography
  • Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and/or film output
  • Act as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and/or students
  • May participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and become proficient in producing images of a patient's body in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the area of primary responsibility
