Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Inspector II to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting fire alarm systems for our existing and new customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed using provided tools
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
  • Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs
  • Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements
  • Self-starter with ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
  • Capable of performing physical labor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Obtain NICET I within 1 year of employment
  • Basic computer skills - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with Smartphone skills
