Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work closely with our team of speech-language pathologists in providing therapy services to students. This full-time position involves assisting in delivering speech and language therapy sessions, implementing therapy activities and treatment plans, and documenting student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy sessions.
- Implement therapy activities and treatment plans as directed by the SLP.
- Document and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to the supervising SLP.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment that encourages student success.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of employment.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
