Job Overview

Summary:

The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for executing production tasks to meet the service requirements of various restoration projects while ensuring the professional presentation of SERVPRO equipment and assigned service vehicles. By delivering high-quality, consistent, and efficient work, the Manufacturing Specialist embodies excellence in the cleanup and restoration sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organize and load the service vehicle with necessary equipment, materials, and supplies for each project. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-organized.

2. Prepare work areas for project activities. Establish staging areas and set up equipment as required.

3. Execute production tasks as instructed.

4. Follow safety and risk management protocols at all times.

5. Collaborate with the crew chief and fellow technicians to ensure smooth production workflows.

6. Conduct end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and disassembly. Leave the job site in a neat and orderly condition.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an orderly warehouse environment. Clean and upkeep the warehouse, office, and surrounding areas as assigned.

2. Enhance production knowledge in services, cleaning agents, and equipment.

3. Undertake other tasks as directed by the employer.

Required Experience and Skills:

· Strong work ethic.

· Excellent verbal communication abilities.

· Prior experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is preferred.

Education and Training:

· High school diploma or GED.

· IICRC certifications are a plus.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

Regularly lift up to 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, and endure long periods of walking and standing. Responsibilities include driving, sitting, climbing ladders, working at heights, navigating tight spaces (such as crawl spaces and attics), and repetitive tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects. Exposure to chemicals and overhead work is also part of the role.

While performing job duties, employees may frequently encounter fumes or airborne particles and occasionally face extreme conditions like heat and unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment and job sites may be loud, and employees may need to wear respirators for safety.

Work Schedule and Travel:

This is a full-time role typically working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The position may require extended hours beyond the standard workday, including some evenings and weekends. Local travel is necessary, with potential for occasional out-of-area and overnight travel.
