Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and register patients in the clinic database
- Order necessary patient services, such as lab and radiology testing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and greeting clients
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a certificate or diploma from an accredited school
- CPR certification
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of medical terminology and processes
- Basic administrative skills, including typing, filing, and use of office equipment
The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
