Vocational Nurse Specialist

At PS2G, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Washington, DC. This exciting opportunity involves working with students in the DC public school system, providing comprehensive medical assessments, and administering medication as needed.

About the RoleThis role requires a currently licensed practical nurse under DC law. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive medical assessment of youth according to nursing practice standards, monitor and administer medication(s) and give treatment(s), respond to and assess emergency health needs of students, collaborate on an as-needed basis with OSSE-DOT and Local Education Agency (LEA) staff and parents/guardians, and document information about services rendered.
Requirements- Currently licensed practical nurse under DC law
- 1 year of experience in nursing
- High school or equivalent education
This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
