The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge in radar technologies to contribute to the design of architectures for next-generation multi-function sensors and enhancements to current systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform customer or product specifications into thorough systems solutions that meet technical, scheduling, and budgetary requirements.
  • Conduct functional analysis, timeline assessments, capability simulations, detailed trade studies, requirements distribution, and interface definition studies.
  • Create and sustain system architectures that align with customer needs, emphasizing modularity, scalability, and extensibility.
  • Establish system implementation strategies and operational concepts.
  • Perform system performance modeling and ensure the systematic translation of requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Guide and supervise technical deliverables produced by the engineering team, facilitating design reviews and integration and testing activities.
  • Assist in capture efforts, including the preparation for RFI/RFPs, customer presentations, and competitive analysis.
  • Remain updated on current and emerging technologies, developing strategies for their integration into both legacy and next-generation sensors.
  • Adapt existing products to fulfill unique customer requirements and aid in the development of next-generation offerings.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and senior management with customized content tailored to the audience.
  • Implement new technologies and designs to facilitate rapid development, prototyping, and cost-effective solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with at least 14 years of experience in systems and product development; OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience; OR a PhD with 9 years of experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain Special Program Access prior to commencement.
  • Experience in RF Systems Engineering, Radar Design/Development, and relevant algorithm development.
  • Prior experience with MATLAB.
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • Leadership experience in development and/or production program execution.
  • Experience in leading technical teams.
  • Background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
  • Strong technical problem-solving capabilities, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Multi-disciplinary expertise in systems design, hardware, software, firmware design, integration, and testing.
  • Experience in RF or EW technology with a focus on sensor development and implementation.
