Associate Financial Representative

The Associate Financial Representative plays a vital role in supporting the financial representative in building their practice and client relationships. This individual serves as a liaison between the network office and home office, as well as the financial representative and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Service Support: Provide exceptional client service and communication, including phone and email support.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Proactively reach out to clients and prospective clients to schedule meetings.
  • Client Communication: Confirm appointments and answer client calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Task Management: Take initiative to ensure tasks are followed through until complete and reach out to clients as needed.
  • Insurance Support: Assist with client insurance service requests, including beneficiary/bank/address changes, reinstatements, and dividend changes.
  • Documentation: Document notes and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
  • Meeting Follow-up: Assist with meeting follow-up to submit new business or create follow-up activities in CRM.
  • Application Monitoring: Monitor and expedite applications in underwriting, and assist with scheduled client medical exams.
  • Home Office Support: Work with Home Office support for client servicing and insurance underwriting pre-screen/follow-ups, as well as assistance with technology and Advisor-assigned research.
  • Electronic Client Files: Help maintain electronic client files in a secure and organized manner.
Qualifications:
  • Health and Life Licensed: Possess a Health and Life license or gain licensing within 6 months of employment.
  • Financial Services Experience: Preferably have experience in the financial services and/or insurance industry.
  • Administrative Support: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience in administrative support or customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
