Mahalo for your interest in this role. We are seeking a highly skilled Global Force Management Specialist to join our team at Dawson.

This is a challenging opportunity to provide management and labor necessary to support Continental United States NORAD Region (CONR), First Air Force (1 AF) Air Forces Northern (AFNORTH), Air Forces Space (AFSPACE) Tyndall AFB, FL and its associated units at Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS), Rome, NY; and Western Air Defense Sector (WADS) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) AFB, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and submit requests for forces required to conduct emergent CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH/AFSPACE) missions.
  • Analyze higher headquarters orders to formulate and coordinate annual rotational force requirements for standing missions.
  • Monitor validation and sourcing of submitted requests throughout the Global Force Management (GFM) process.
  • Advise staff and senior leadership on GFM policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and execute all aspects of adaptive planning efforts for CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH/AFSPACE) supporting NORAD and USNORTHCOM missions.
  • Assemble concept of operations and draft operations Plan (OPLAN) and Contingency Plan (CONPLAN) annexes, branch and sequel plans, exercise plans, Operations Orders (OPORD), Executions Orders (EXORD), and Planning Orders (PLANORD).
  • Manage and conduct special projects and assignments and coordinates with subordinate units, adjacent commands, and higher headquarters on matters of mutual concern in the plans area.
  • Analyze mission requirements and higher headquarters orders, guidance relevant plans, information, and data.
  • Process approved COAs, translates plans, guidance, and direction into mission execution orders and prepares orders for the Director/Commander.
  • Training may consist of attending conferences, symposiums, and training course/sessions as needed, Anti-Terrorism Training, Derivative Classification Training, Ancillary Training, Operations Security, Training in support of new or updated technology for the mission requirements, Crew Mission Ready Certification.
Requirements
  • Experience comparable to Air Force Enlisted with a military grade of E7- E9 has been used to meet this requirement.
  • US Citizenship and have a DoD government security clearance SECRET and Special Compartmented Information.
  • Demonstrate skill in verbal and written communication.
