Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Front End Software Engineer with expertise in web application development, UI/UX design, and programming fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as experience with modern frontend stacks such as React JS and Django. Additionally, you should be able to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies quickly and work independently on features while collaborating with a team to review code and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze high-level customer requirements and design and experiment with frontend concepts
  • Develop UI/UX designs for the full lifecycle of web-based applications, including design, architecture, implementation, and testing
  • Present UI/UX designs to customers, collaborators, and end-users
  • Develop and sustain new and existing applications, fix and resolve software issues, and profile and improve application performance
  • Define and execute software requirements for application deployment and maintenance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with modern frontend stacks such as React JS and Django
  • 2 years of experience designing, developing, and debugging user-friendly web-based graphical user interfaces
  • 2 years of experience interfacing with backend APIs
  • Ability to obtain a US clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, Agile software development, continuous integration, and data management
  • Experience with interface design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with CSS libraries such as Tailwind CSS and Bulma
  • Experience with Python, including NumPy and PyTorch
  • Experience with databases, pub/sub networks, and containerization
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $80,704 - $110,240, based on role, employee experience, and location
