About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental chemistry, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in managing assessment and water treatment/remediation design projects. They will be responsible for providing technical guidance and leadership to junior scientists, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assessment and water treatment/remediation design projects, including permitting and environmental compliance activities
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior scientists
- Develop and execute business development strategies, including market/client intelligence, client relationship management, and revenue generation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and professionals from various backgrounds
- Prepare regulatory submittals and present complex technical information to diverse audiences
- B.S. degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required; Master's or PhD a plus
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in environmental chemistry and remediation
- Strong working knowledge of state/federal environmental laws and regulations
- Experience working with regulatory agency personnel in the tristate area (PA, OH, WV) a plus
