The Department of Engineering at Grove City College invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, including laboratory courses, and advising capstone design projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in biomedical engineering, including laboratory courses
  • Advise capstone design projects
  • Support the development of a new biomedical engineering concentration within the Applied Science and Engineering program
  • Contribute to the department's commitment to academic excellence, undergraduate teaching and research, hands-on engineering design, and advising within the context of a college community that values liberal arts education, the life of the Christian mind, and service for the common good

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a field of engineering or science closely related to biomedical engineering
  • Demonstrate proficiency in teaching undergraduates in both classroom and laboratory settings
  • Ability and a plan to carry on research and/or other scholarly work
