Job Summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a member of our telemetry PCU, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a telemetry PCU setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
