Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in our 25-bed Medical Unit, specializing in the care of acutely and chronically ill adults with complex medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal medicine physicians and residents to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Float to other units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • 1 year of experience in critical care nursing preferred.
  • Ability to work 3x12 hour shifts, 7A-7P, with occasional overtime as needed.
