Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide direct patient care in our outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients with end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, including blood pressure, weight, and vital signs
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
