Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our team at Pediatrix. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our golf pro shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily operation of the pro shop, including collecting fees, taking reservations, and operating cash registers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to golfers and park visitors, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the pro shop facilities, including cleaning and organizing the work area, and performing routine maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay up-to-date on park operations and policies.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Manager on Duty.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the game of golf and golf operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
  • Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to learn the operation of the facility and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks.
  • Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
  • Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays.
