Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Giant Food. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prevent Loss and Shrink: Monitor, investigate, and prevent loss and shrink within assigned stores through surveillance and other LP tactics.
  • Internal and External Theft: Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents, and serve as the primary contact for safety and security issues in assigned stores.
  • Store Visits: Conduct daily store tours to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action as necessary, and maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses.
  • Shrink Reports: Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities seen in assigned stores.

As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will ensure a store environment that is safe from theft and provides a secure destination to shop. You will also assist in the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures related to safety and security training programs.
