Product Test Engineer Intern

Cirrus Logic is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Test Engineer Intern to join our Product Test Engineering team. As a Product Test Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in the development of production test solutions for high-volume manufacture of complex mixed-signal semiconductors for consumer audio devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist engineers in the development and production of mixed-signal and analog semiconductor integrated circuits.
  • Perform electrical bench and ATE analysis to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  • Gather and summarize data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Design and build test hardware to support the development of new test techniques and methodologies.
  • Manage yield enhancement and cost reduction projects to optimize product performance and reduce production costs.
  • Support the development of new test programs and the release of production hardware.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to manage NPI production ramp deliverables and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with mixed-signal product engineering and lab equipment use.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of yield analysis and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis using tools such as Spotfire, JMP, PDF, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of test hardware debug and schematic tracing.
  • Experience with integrated circuit testing and test setup.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Teradyne UFlex, Excerra, Catalyst test systems.
  • Linux/Unix shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of IC or board-level test and failure analysis.

This is a hybrid position with a 2+ day in-office work schedule. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic. This opportunity is available for the summer 2025 semester only and is open to students currently enrolled in a BS program in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.6 or above.
