Electrical Engineer Internship Opportunity

Olin is seeking highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineering students to join our team as interns. As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of new equipment specifications and serve as the engineering representative on small capital projects
  • Work with equipment suppliers and vendors to ensure project goals are met
  • Provide reliability leadership for instruments, valves, and electrical supply equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting, gathering, and analyzing data
  • Participate in plant turnarounds and outages
  • Update P&IDs of plant processes with instrumentation
  • Develop policies and procedures for Preventative/Predictive maintenance
  • Review, modify, and create Preventive/Predictive Maintenance plans for specific equipment
Requirements:
  • Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree program
  • Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location
  • Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin
  • Must have completed sophomore year prior to first assignment with Olin
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May - August 2025
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • A Valid US Driver's license is required
