We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Soliant. As an Interim Director of Pharmacy, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy team in an acute care hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.
- Lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, and PRN pharmacists to achieve high-quality patient care and safety standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide medication therapy management and optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage pharmacy systems, including CPSI order entry, cart fill, and night locker dispensing.
- Ensure the safe and accurate compounding of IV medications, including chemotherapy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role in an acute care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and operational challenges.
- Proficiency in pharmacy systems and technology, including CPSI and IV compounding.
