We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at HealthONE Hospice & Family Care. As a paraprofessional member of our interdisciplinary group, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personalized care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Perform personal care needs for assigned patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, and attend to their requests promptly.
- Observe patients and report any changes or concerns to the Hospice Director or Director of Clinical Services.
- Provide emotional support and positive communication techniques to patients and their families, maintaining confidentiality and respect at all times.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Additional education/training as required by the State
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance
- Must have valid driver's license
