iPhone Hardware Systems Validation Engineer

Are you passionate about creating innovative consumer products? As an iPhone Hardware Systems Validation Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in delivering electrical validation milestones for our iconic products.
You will work closely with the iPhone System Integration Team to drive projects forward and ensure high-quality results. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering, you will be responsible for debugging, working closely with multiple engineering teams, and refining our designs.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Partnering with EE design and SI/PI teams to define rigorous test plans for our products
- Driving the execution of test plans with subsystem owners and our CM partners
- Collaborating with EE and cross-functional teams to review results and feed validation learnings back into design improvements
- Effectively reporting validation progress, risks, and top issues to the broader team and upper management
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Expertise with hardware bring-up and bench-top measurements with lab equipment
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic understanding of both low-speed and high-speed digital interfaces
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and experience working on high-volume consumer electronics
- Hands-on experience with low-speed and high-speed digital interfaces
- In-depth knowledge of power integrity, including analog designs
