Weekend Injection Molding Technician

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Injection Molding Technician to join our team at Gest-Can RLX (2000) INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and lubrication of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality production.
• Communicate effectively with team leaders and supervisors to ensure timely interventions and maintain optimal production levels.
• Record and maintain accurate intervention reports and equipment logs.
• Perform tooling changes, production adjustments, and maintenance tasks as required.
• Understand and maintain knowledge of water systems, plastic resin conveying systems, hydraulic systems, electric and electronic basics, grease and oil definitions, and compressed air systems.

Requirements:

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of good health and safety practices.
• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Effective communication and prioritization skills.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Push or pull with up to 60 lbs. of force on an occasional basis.
• Stoop, kneel, climb, squat, or crawl on a frequent basis in areas with limited space.
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis.
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis.
• Possess manual dexterity and good physical condition.
• Ability to travel in/outside of the US.
• Ability to travel for months at a time for training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Facilities Maintenance Occupations: 4 years.
• Maintenance: 4 years.
• Plastics injection molding: 4 years.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift.
• Saturday/Sunday + 1 Weekday.
• Day Shift/Night shift.
• Night prime $1.50/Hour.
• Overtime.
