Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Americas IML Containers team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial robotics, mechatronic systems, and programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot existing IML robot tooling
  • Design programs for new tools of IML robots
  • Improve and maintain the productivity of the IML Robot
  • Program and install AI vision for new products
  • Enhance vision programs on existing products
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on IML robots and injection presses
  • Travel throughout the Americas (North & South)

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Rockwell software programming
  • Knowledge of vision system programming
  • Understanding of Servo Drive
  • Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic control
  • Proficiency in C++ programming
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Valid passport/willingness to travel
  • Self-motivation
  • Team-oriented

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of injection molding
  • Understanding of the IML process
  • Experience with Fanuc robots
