Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Transaction Success to facilitate the Analysis, Letter of Intent, and Diligence phases of transactions.
- Serve as a quality assurance expert, ensuring accurate valuations and projections for clients.
- Engage with clients alongside the dedicated Deal Team once an engagement letter is established.
- Coordinate with third-party financial firms during the Diligence phase to validate the accuracy of essential documents.
- Utilize financial expertise to enhance the firm's analytical techniques while maintaining exceptional client service.
- Gather diligence documentation through effective communication with clients and their representatives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of dental practices, including reviewing financial statements and tax returns to estimate value and pricing.
- Address inquiries from potential partners regarding financial and operational data related to practice valuation.
- Assist the Director of Transaction Success in guiding clients through the partner diligence process, including Quality of Earnings reviews and legal documentation.
- Preferred experience of 2 years in valuation, analysis, or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
- CPA candidates or licensed CPAs are preferred.
- Experience in advisory roles, such as litigation, valuation, or consulting, is highly valued.
- Familiarity with the medical or dental sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical capabilities are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated initiative and capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to solve problems professionally and present practical recommendations to clients.
- Timely and accurate project completion is critical.
- Self-motivated with the ability to initiate and follow through on projects.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are important.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position operates in a standard office setting, utilizing typical office equipment such as computers and phones. The role is primarily sedentary, with some filing required.
