Electromechanical Quality Assurance Technician

Laboratory Support Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new products.
- Contribute to product enhancements.
- Support the production of existing products.
- Maintain product certification compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all safety protocols in the laboratory and production areas.
- Operate and manage laboratory testing equipment.
- Complete all necessary safety and skills training as mandated by the laboratory and corporate guidelines.
- Ensure the laboratory environment is safe, organized, and clean.
TESTING AND CALIBRATION
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, thermal, functional, and environmental tests in accordance with established standards or engineering specifications, under supervision.
- Collaborate with test requestors to confirm testing requirements and ensure accurate data collection.
- Record test data and outcomes precisely using the corporate documentation system.
- Assemble and disassemble testing apparatus as needed.
- Set up, connect, and operate testing devices in the designated environment.
- Collaborate with Senior Technicians to outline the specifics of test execution.
RESULT ANALYSIS
- Provide a clear and objective analysis of test results.
REPORTING
- Interpretative insights are not provided at this level.
METHODS AND PROCEDURES
- The laboratory adheres strictly to defined methods in certification standards without modifications.
METHOD DEVELOPMENT
- The laboratory utilizes established methods from certification standards and does not develop new methodologies.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in the safe use of standard laboratory hand and power tools.
- Competent in operating basic laboratory measurement and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts including voltage, current, power, and resistance.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and rectify unsafe or undesirable conditions within the laboratory.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Employees will be required to complete training in the following areas:
- Laboratory Safety Protocols
- Electrical Safety Standards
- Quality Assurance Manual

- Equipment-Specific Training as required by the role.
- Additional training as mandated by corporate directives or laboratory changes.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Associate's Degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
