About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents, assessing their health and providing personalized care.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Monitor and document resident health status, identifying any changes or concerns and reporting them to the Resident Care Director.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Work closely with the community team to ensure seamless care delivery and maintain open communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
