Concrete Construction Internship Opportunity

Are you looking to launch your career in concrete construction? Our internship program offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the planning and execution of construction projects, working closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into the project design.
- Assist with the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
- Collaborate with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve concerns regarding structural design with the project team.
- Aid in the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
- Assist in the coordination of material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting, ensuring maximum utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
- Manage special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
- In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to travel and work for an extended period of time on projects outside of office area.
