Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ABRET Registered EEG Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center - Portland. This is a travel position that requires a high level of expertise and flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG procedures on patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
  • Operate and maintain EEG equipment, including Natus NeuroWorks.
  • Develop and implement troubleshooting strategies for equipment issues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
  • ABRET Registration in EEG.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an EEG Technologist.
  • Proficiency in the collodion method.
  • Ability to work in intensive care settings.
  • Flexibility to work on-call rotations.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour weekly guarantee. The schedule includes Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM, with occasional weekend hours. The unit has 4 outpatient exam rooms and requires the ability to work with 4+ patients per day.
