Medical Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. As a Medical Oncology RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer, working collaboratively with medical providers and the care team to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs
- Carry out physician orders and administer prescribed medications
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Current FL RN licensure or recognized compact licensure
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and PALS within 90 days
- Oncology certification and chemotherapy experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- One year RN experience in an acute setting
